Simple Things Go a Long Way
When I checked out books from the local public library earlier this week (I'm really into graphic novels lately), I saw a large stack of bookmarks rubber-banded together. They aren't anything fancy and are made with quite flimsy paper material. But looking at them brought me a unique type of joy, a contentment in the small things.
I think I'd like to create my own bookmarks to donate to the library, just as a creative outlet and small community project. What a fun idea that could brighten someone's day! Plus the act of creation brings out my true self. Might as well go with the flow and do it.
